Brunch at Barrel 135

We are so happy to have Sophia home for awhile that Ben convinced us that it would be fitting to go out for dinner Friday, and for brunch after church today. We were easy marks.

Ben wanted to share the joy of Domers with his sister (though his holiday charity did not extend to wings).
Brunch at Barrel 135 was great. I had the breakfast burrito, and Ben got the chicken and waffles.
Sophia loved the scallops egg Benedict of the day, and Phil had the “Lazy Sunday,” which amounts to a Kobe burger egg Benedict. He reported that it was delicious.
I thought this was a lovely mother/son picture, until I realized Ben had gone for the bunny ears. The classics never go out of style.
