As our holiday festivities wind down, Ben gives his Christmas experience a 5-star review.
While the Christmas Eve meal of soup and grilled cheese was not his top choice, he mostly put a sock in it to avoid a lump of coal (or a sack ride to Spain), focusing instead on spending time with family.
Trust me. Trussed meat is the way to go!

We travelled to Virginia to be with Phil’s sister and family, as well as my parents. Mary and Rachid served meal after meal of incredible food. Jake and Sophia stayed a few extra hours on the second day so they wouldn’t miss out on the smoked brisket! Good choice.
My favorite part of our extended family gatherings is the impromptu music this talented group produces. Ben likes music, too, but come on. You saw the brisket.
