We love this place, but we haven’t been here for years…until tonight. If you are in Williamsport and you want a burger, this is where you go. Seriously, it’s what they do. I mean, you can get a salad or a veggie entree, but why?
Ben got a custom burger with pepper jack, bacon, lettuce and onion with fries.I got something called the toasted brick burger. The burger was inside a smoked gouda Mac and cheese sandwich with bacon. I opted for the tater tots instead of fries. Insanely delicious!!!! Phil got a burger with asparagus on the side, but it should be noted (for the record) that he kept eating our fries and tots.Ben ends every “Weekend Treat” by thanking us for taking him out to eat. More specifically, he thanks Phil. I don’t know if it is because Phil coughs up the credit card, or because he drives, but somehow, he is the hero, though the bajillion hours I work a week suggest that I am also a contributing member of the family Whatever. Gratitude is good.
We always enjoy our Friday nights out together. Each of us recounts the craziness of the day. We laugh or console or become indignant on one another’s behalf. I don’t know if it is what every family does, but it’s what we do. As Ben would say, “It’s our thing.”
