We had a great meal tonight on our front porch, with carry-out from the Brickhouse. Great choice!
We started with Maple Bourbon BBQ wings, and by “we” I mean at least 5 of these were consumed by Ben.Ben and I each had the build-your-own burger. Sooooo good. Ben and I are of the same burger mind, but we part ways when it comes to tater tots. I LOVE them. Ben tolerates them as a pale substitute for fries. If you ask me, crispy tots instead of soggy fries are a huge upgrade in this Covid 19 carry-out era.Phil says good things about the luau burger. Is it just me, or does this look like a pirate owl with an eye patch?Sophia loved the Charles pizza.
If we were a different family – maybe you, or maybe your classy neighbors – we would have savored our delicious meal for more than 12 minutes. Alas, we are not that better family. We were a hungry lot, and we finished off the whole business in what we assume was record time. We will never know for sure because we don’t allow stopwatches at these events.
